WorldSkills ASEAN 2025
Setting the Stage
WorldSkills ASEAN (WSA) Manila will take place in August 2025 in The Philippines. This competition serves as a space for participants to demonstrate proficiency, learn from one another, and strengthen connections across the region. It’s not just about winning medals, but also about setting new standards in skills training.
Team Singapore
From 25 to 30 August, Singapore is sending a team of 32 young and talented competitors to take part in 16 different skill areas, ranging from Information Technology and Robotics to essential services. Each competitor has earned their spot through rigorous local selection and intensive preparation, and they approach the event ready to apply their knowledge in a challenging, real-world setting.
These passionate competitors represent the best of Singapore’s skills excellence and will go head-to-head with top youth talents across the ASEAN region.
The experience goes beyond the competition floor. For these participants, it’s an opportunity to engage with peers from neighboring countries, gain insight into new techniques, and return home with fresh perspectives.
As the event nears, Singapore’s competitors are focused on doing their best. Stay tuned right here for behind-the-scenes updates, training highlights, and stories from our competitors as they gear up for the challenge ahead.
Let’s rally behind Team Singapore – where skills meet passion, and excellence takes centre stage!

Peak Performance Training Camp 2025: Igniting the Flame for WSA!
The energy was electric as Team Singapore gathered for this year’s Peak Performance Training (PPT) Camp for two days in Jun 25. This was the final push before our 32 competitors head to Manila for the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition!
The camp brought together competitors, parents, and key members of the WorldSkills Singapore family for an unforgettable event.
This year, we were honoured to welcome parents of our competitors to join us for the trip briefing.
In a heartfelt opening speech, our Official Delegate Ms Loh Khah Gek rallied the room with words of pride and encouragement, reminding all present that this journey is not just about medals—it's about mastery, resilience, and camaraderie. Next, our Technical Delegate Mr Kelvin Ng added a personal touch, offering reassurance to the parents and words of encouragement to our competitors.
Another highlight was when Rachel Yu, our charismatic alumna from the Hotel Reception skill, shared her experience representing Singapore at WorldSkills Lyon 2024. Her candid stories, practical tips, and words of wisdom lit up the room and reminded everyone that beyond the nerves lies an opportunity of a lifetime.
Through team-building activities, mental fortitude workshops, and shared meals, the camp strengthened the spirit of unity and purpose that will carry Team Singapore forward to Manila.
With hearts fired up and minds focused, our competitors are ready to take on the region’s best. Let the countdown begin—WorldSkills ASEAN, here we come!
