WorldSkills ASEAN Competition

This WorldSkills ASEAN Competition is a biennial competition is for young talents around Southeast Asia gather to showcase their talents and abilities in various skills categories. First held in 1995 in Malaysia, the WorldSkills ASEAN Competition aims to promote and upgrade skills standards in the ASEAN region to an international level, as well as to motivate youths to develop their skills to meet international standards. It also provides an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, expertise and experience among delegates from member countries. Singapore first participated in its first WorldSkills ASEAN Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2008, and it has been participating in this competition every two years.

In view of the uncertainties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition scheduled for Apr 2021 has been postponed to Jul 2023.
