Cooking (Scope of Competition)

Recommended Entry Requirements
1. Competitors must possess the requisite skills and knowledge in preparing Western cuisine.

Competition Format
2. This competition is an individual event. No assistants will be allowed.

3. Test Projects for the competition are structured into modules.

4. Competitors are required to prepare and present:

• 4 varieties of finger food
• Dessert using chocolate and fruit
• Seafood pasta, using handmade Italian pasta, served with freshly made sauce
• Interpretation of lemon meringue pie using suitable edible décor
• Lamb main course served with sauce, 2 types of side vegetables and 1 type of starch

Time Allocated
5. 20 to 24 hours over 3 days of competition
