Activities for WorldSkills Singapore 2016

WorldSkills Singapore is here again! Organised by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and the 5 Polytechnics, WorldSkills Singapore is a biennial event that promotes and celebrates skills.

For MOE Schools – 7 & 8 July 2016

This year, the organisers have teamed up with MOE and WDA to have a stronger Education and Career Guidance (ECG) component in the activities for secondary school students. They will be able to explore different career options by visiting Skills Hubs, as well as listening to industry experts and lecturers from ITE and the polytechnics.

Details on the programme can be downloaded here. The schedule of talks is also available here.

For Public – 9 July 2016

We have also lined up a series of free workshops for the community to participate in. This is a great opportunity for you to pick up a skill or two! Places are limited and admission into workshops is on a first-come-first-served basis.

You will also be able to visit the Skills Hubs to try your hand at interactive projects put together by ITE and the polytechnics.

If you are a parent of a secondary school going child and is interested to find out more about what ITE and the Polytechnics have to offer as a post-secondary education institution, join us at the Parents’ Talk.

The programme and workshop schedules happening on 9 July 2016 can be downloaded here.

We look forward to welcoming you at WorldSkills Singapore 2016!
