Hi all!! Anyone from NSC (National Skills Competition) 2002 before it was renamed t0 WSC (World Skills Competition)??

I was from NSC 2002, PC & Networking segment.

I'm from NSC 2002 too, Mechanical Design.
that time the software we use is still AutoCAD only

that time the software we use is still AutoCAD only

Heya!  During my poly years, I used to work part time for a civil engineering company, and used to do programming for them... I remember my task was like taking some values on a text file and them plotting them in AutoCAD.

What is the software they use now for all the drafting work?  Do they name it differently?  Mechanical Desktop?

The version I used to work with was AutoCAD R14 and 2000

there's alot of drafting software available in the 'working world', but guess most common ones r still AutoCAD, ProE, etc....

for what i know, the software that is using in competition now is call Inventor
